Business Development Manager £35K-50K DOE Manchester

The Role

Thermatic are a HVAC Maintenance and Installation company.  We work nationally for a number of blue-chip clients and are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager due to continued growth; within this role you will be responsible for winning new business contracts.

The focus of the role is to strategically acquire commercial clients which require HVAC services for large single or manned sites.

Technical HVAC knowledge is not compulsory but would be a distinct advantage in securing this Business Development Manager role.

What You’ll Need

The ideal candidate will be a sales professional with proven track record of developing single site contracts. We are looking for someone with the commitment, drive, and enthusiasm, to make a difference for our clients.

AC Install Engineer £28-32K DOE Manchester

The Role

Thermatic are a HVAC Maintenance and Installation company.  We work nationally for a number of blue-chip clients and are currently recruiting an experienced AC Install Engineer who have intuition and a pro-active outlook in order to provide the highest level of service possible.

Our installation engineers are responsible for installing a wide range of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration equipment including VRV / VRF / SPLIT systems. You must have prior experience of this in order to be considered.

What You’ll Need

  • Must have worked in the industry for a minimum of 1 years as an installation engineer
  • F-Gas certificate
  • Electrical awarenesshighly desirable

Domestic Refurb Mechanical And Electrical Estimator DOE Manchester

The Role

Thermatic are a rapidly growing Domestic refurb M&E installation, service and maintenance company. We work nationally for a number of national main contractors, local authorities and housing associations and currently looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical estimator to take ownership of the role, reporting directly to senior management and dealing with clients of all levels.  

We are a commercial organisation with a purpose beyond profit, finding the right person for this key role is essential. The role requires a self-motivated and focused individual who will quickly establish themselves as a key member of the management team. 

Experience of working on Mechanical & electrical Packages within Social Housing would be a distinct advantage. 

The Key aspects of the role.

  • Prepare and submit prime cost estimates 
  • Liaise with internal and external engineers, consultants and subcontractors to construct and formulate estimates and resolve issues. 
  • Analyse drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare estimates. 
  • Identify and provide alternative design proposals, solutions and value engineering options. 
  • Establish and maintain tendering processes and conduct negotiations. 
  • Carry out site surveys to establish project details / requirements and ensure project risks, health and safety and site establishment requirements are identified. 
  • Provide Technical Guidance, Advice & Bid Support, from start to finish. 
  • Ensure that Good Practice and Legal Compliance are maintained.

Candidate Profile

The candidate must have excellent time management skills with the ability to organise, allocate priorities and manage workload. It’s a role for someone who loves to be busy and is very autonomous. Ideally you will have over 5 years’ experience as an electrical/mechanical estimator and conversant with Industry standards & policies

Skill Requirements

  • Experience in Estimating. 
  • knowledge of the social housing industry 
  • Client facing customer service experience. 
  • Strong communication skills should be able to communicate confidently with all members of the construction team, directors, clients and consultants. 
  • Willingness to be flexible within the working day and management of targets. 
  • Keen sense of opportunity and the ability to accurately assess ‘Added-Value’ for the customer and effectively identify and manage Risk. 
  • Good computer skills. 
  • Excellent analytic, numeric, literacy skills.
