The Role

Thermatic are Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Maintenance Company We work nationally for a number of blue chip clients and are currently recruiting National service engineers to work remotely in various areas of the UK.

We are looking for experienced engineers who have intuition and a pro-active outlook in order to provide the highest level of service possible during Servicing and reactive call out work.  Experience in fault finding, Repairing and commissioning is essential along with the corresponding qualifications.

To provide engineering services on behalf of Thermatic at various locations for our clients. Ensuring outstanding customer service, high standards of work and helping to promote the company name.

  • Servicing Gas and Oil heating systems
  • Fault finding
  • Repair
  • Commissioning
  • Installation

The Key Skill Requirements

  • GasSafe qualified across all gas commercial and industrial equipment. Applications and installations.
  • CPA1, CCN1 CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1.
  • Good customer skills.

Preferable but not essential

  • Refrigerant handling and FGas qualified
  • Oil Fired Heaters. (oftec)
  • Electrical Experience

The Benefits

  • £28,000.00 to £32,000.00 p.a DOE
  • Overtime available with Expected Earning up to 25% of Salary

Overtime Rates

  • First and last 30 mins of each day not paid (reasonable commute)
  • 60 mins unpaid lunch break.
  • Travel time – Single rate
  • On site time (over 8 hrs contracted) – time and a half
  • Saturday Am – time and a half
  • Saturday Pm – Double time
  • Sunday – Double time

Other Arrangements

There is a requirement to work away and occasional overnight stays along with early starts/late finishes. Engineers will also need to be scheduled into a 24hr on call rota (average 1 week out of 6).

Working away most weeks is a requirement as well as working nights and out of hours to accommodate work on live sites.

Administration of installation projects including raising Purchase orders, creating site documents, and recording activities on internal systems.

The Business

The Key aspects of the role.

We are going to develop a less experienced individual with a drive and passion for Technology to bring something unique to our industry, an understanding of software and potentially a basic understanding of programming would be of significant advantage.

Time will be allocated to each business in our group and from day 1 the candidates will be encouraged to learn, review, consider and discuss current processes and practices specifically in respect of technology, I.T development and industry innovation.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, driven Coordinator to manage all Service and Maintenance Engineers within our commercial Heating and Air Conditioning company. You’ll be working on a Full-Time basis (40 hours per week) and will be met with a generous salary alongside 30 days holiday, healthcare, pension and death in service following the successful completion of a 3 month probationary period.

The Key aspects of the role.

Working within the Service and Maintenance Department, the Facilities Coordinator will organize a team of 40 remote Engineers alongside planning work schedules, pre-plan maintenance and reactive works.

Your other responsibilities will include:
• Managing the day-to-day work load of engineering staff.
• Answer client calls and providing a high level of customer service.
• Administering all service and maintenance paperwork ensuring works sheets are checked, filed and sent to clients.
