GRADUATE FAST TRACK MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Business overview

Thermatic provide high quality and cost effective heating, ventilation and air-conditioning solutions to a broad spectrum of clients across the UK.

Our team of experts offer bespoke design, project management, installation and maintenance services for customers across a wide range of sectors.

We have a broad geographical spread and many customers rely on our quick response time to provide a business critical reactive service.

Many of our customers are blue chip brands operating in industries such as automotive, retail, social housing, hospitality and leisure, logistics, aerospace and manufacturing.

Objective of the scheme

As a rapidly growing business with strong expectations for the future we recognize the requirement to bring in new people to our business. By initiating a Fast Track Scheme we hope to develop some less experienced individuals through the business giving diversity and further breadth of knowledge.

The roles

The roles will be positioned over a 12 month period across all 4 companies in our business.

Time will be allocated to each business and from day 1 the candidates will be considered as analysts to learn, review, consider and discuss current processes and practices with the incumbent management team.

The candidates will be coached through each sector by the relevant Managing Director and Senior Managers and will report into the commercial director on a weekly basis.

Exposure in each of the businesses will be to areas such as :-

  • People Management
  • Workload Planning
  • Financial planning
  • Commercial exposure/Risk Management
  • Contractor Management
  • H&S
  • Day to Day operations

Time in each sector will be allocated and Mentors provided for each learning environment.

EDUCATION

Throughout the 12 month program the candidates will be given external training on varying subjects including but not limited to Managing people, Managing performance, Marketing, Sales and Finance.

After the 12 month program

After the 12 Month program the candidates will be reviewed and the best performers offer the opportunity to take a management role in one of the 4 businesses where they have proven to excel.

A further low intensity development program will run following the placement to increase specific subject matter knowledge.

Commercial Gas Service Engineer 30th November, 2018 £28k - £38k p.a DOE Manchester

The Role

Thermatic are Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Maintenance Company We work nationally for a number of blue chip clients and are currently recruiting National service engineers to work remotely in various areas of the UK.

We are looking for experienced engineers who have intuition and a pro-active outlook in order to provide the highest level of service possible during Servicing and reactive call out work.  Experience in fault finding, Repairing and commissioning is essential along with the corresponding qualifications.

To provide engineering services on behalf of Thermatic at various locations for our clients. Ensuring outstanding customer service, high standards of work and helping to promote the company name.

  • Servicing Gas and Oil heating systems
  • Fault finding
  • Repair

The Key Skill Requirements

  • GasSafe qualified across all gas commercial and industrial equipment. Applications and installations.
  • CPA1, CCN1 CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1.
  • Good customer skills.

Preferable but not essential

  • Refrigerant handling and FGas qualified
  • Oil Fired Heaters. (oftec)
  • Electrical Experience

The Benefits

  • £28,000.00 to £32,000.00 p.a DOE

Overtime Rates

  • First and last 30 mins of each day not paid (reasonable commute)
  • 60 mins unpaid lunch break.
  • Travel time – Single rate
  • On site time (over 8 hrs contracted) – time and a half
  • Saturday Am – time and a half
  • Saturday Pm – Double time
  • Sunday – Double time

Other Arrangements

There is a requirement to work away and occasional overnight stays along with early starts/late finishes. Engineers will also need to be scheduled into a 24hr on call rota (average 1 week out of 6).

The Role

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Account Manager with experience of “Multi-site” Client Account Management for our nationwide operation based in Manchester.

The position will be within a long-standing department in our business with huge opportunity for growth and expansion. The right candidate will have a detailed knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, and ensure quality of services from our engineering team.

Provision of Estimation, Quality Assurance, and Client liaison to ensure the best commercial outcome of any project in which you are involved. Representing the company in a professional manner and provide customer satisfaction and assisting with all technical aspects of our business.

A large part of the role will be to develop new and existing work streams growing the business in line with the rest of the group.

The Role will be office based but with site surveys to prepare contracts, resolve technical and contract issues and secure business by the provision of technical excellence. The candidate should ideally have experience of quoting and estimating service contracts.

Other Arrangements

The usual working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, however where there is a business need these may vary from time to time. There may also be a requirement to work away and occasional overnight stays may be required.

The Role

Thermatic are Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Maintenance Company We work nationally for a number of blue chip clients and are currently recruiting Engineers to install and refurbish commercial Air Conditioning and ventilation systems.

We are looking for experienced engineers who have intuition and a pro-active outlook in order to provide the highest level of service possible.

Working away most weeks is a requirement as well as working nights and out of hours to accommodate work on live sites.
